I'm a recreational trail rider and do so 2-3 times per week. Having safety in mind is the most important feature, and all helmets meet basic standards. I also sweat a lot. That said, I read a bit about helmet features to consider. This helmet has met my needs at a fair price. I like the extended back that covers all the back part of the head. There is the headband adjustment for getting the proper fit on your head along with the usual chinstrap adjuster. The helmet comes with a removable visor, but to do so requires a hex wrench. If popping one on and off quickly is important to you, then this is a drawback. The highlight for me are the cooling vents. There are a couple in front under the visor. If I have any speed at all, I can feel the air flowing through the helmet. It's like an air conditioner for your brain. I think that this feature, along with the headband padding, has reduced the amount of sweat I get in my eyes.

Again, the fit its great for my BIG head, the box said large but its xl, room for a cold gear, I almost dont try it because the label reads large, so glad they make me try it.

Great helmet…light, fits well, very adjustable. This helmet saved my head in a bad crash that broke my arm and caused a lot of facial trauma. I landed on the visor, cracked the front of the helmet but did not suffer a noticeable concussion. After I recovered I bought the same helmet to replace the old one. Buy it, wear it!
