Specialized Turbo X

Specialized's Turbo X combines speed and style through an innovative electric-assist motor, advanced electronics, and sleek design. The Turbo was named with intent: Its custom-built Direct Drive rear hub motor allows this hot-rod to jump off the line when the light turns green, and intuitive speed controls are integrated into the grip. Make no mistake though, this is a real bike, and it’s outfitted to ride like one. Fast-rolling 700c wheels with wide 47mm tires deliver a smooth, capable ride. There's a stellar RockShox Paragon fork with 50mm of travel up front to smooth out imperfect pavement and light trails. Add in a 10-speed SRAM drivetrain with a SRAM X7 derailleur, and you're more than ready to roll. Formula’s awesome C1 hydraulic disc brakes quickly scrub speed and use regenerative braking technology to top off the battery’s power level. And you'll enjoy excellent stability and confident tracking at any speed thanks to stiff, sturdy thru-axle wheels. All this, yet the electric motor is nearly silent, so you'll have to make motorcycle noises with your mouth.
