Comments:
I purchased this saddle after being fitted for the correct width by my local Specialized Dealer in Orlando, FL. I was skeptical, having had problems finding a comfortable saddle in the past. On my first ride I was amazed - it is, without a doubt, the most comfortable saddle I've ever owned! I've ridden it on several 2+ hour rides without any problems. I strongly recommend being fitted first. It took about 2 minutes and makes a difference. Another high quality product from Specialized.
Comments:
This saddle has worked out great for me! I've had it for about a year and have put thousands of miles on it including some crit races, road races and even a 24 hour race where I set my PR of 301.2 miles. It does great climbing and racing across the flats. I look forward to putting even more miles on it before I upgrade to the Pro model.

Comments:
BEFORE I BOUGHT THE ROMIN COMP PRO THE SALESMAN ASKED ME FOR MY WEIGHT. I AM NOT SURE WHAT SIZE I RECIEVED. VERY DURABLE SEAT & I HAD NO PROBLEM WITH COMFORT WITH THIS SEAT. THAT WAS ABOUT A YEAR AGO SINCE THEN MY SPEEDY METABOLISM HAS FINALLY SLOWED DOWN @ AGE 45-46 YEARS OLD & NOW I AM IN GREAT PAIN & GREAT STIFFNESS PROBABLY BECAUSE THE SEAT IS TOO SMALL 4 ME NOW! IF IT WAS 3-4 YEARS AGO WHEN I WAS 6 FOOT 2 BAREFOOT & ONLY 174 LBS. THE SEAT WOULD HAVE BEEN GREAT 4 ME! I HAD 2 WTB SPEED V PRO GEL SADDLES & THEY BOTH WERE COMFORTABLE BUT THEY BOTH FELL APART & MADE A MESS AFTER 6 MONTHS TO A YEAR. I BOUGHT THEM ELSEWHERE. I WILL PROBABLY GET ANOTHER WTB SADDLE BUT NOT THE SPEED V! THE BASIC WTB FOR $35-$40 WASNT AS COMFORTABLE AS THE SPEED V BUT LASTED LONGER! I AM A SEMIPRO BIKE RIDER WHO DOES 50 MILES & AT LEAST 150 MILES A WEEK ON A TRAINER HOOKED UP TO A BIKE! THE ROMIN COMP PRO WAS EASY TO SETUP & VERY DURABLE, BUT I GAINED 5-10 LBS. THIS LAST YEAR. THAT IS PROBABLY WHY THE SEAT IS TOO SMALL NOW!
