When your ride varies from skate parks to city streets and ends with a session at the trails, Specialized's Rhythm Lite is the tire of choice. A fast-rolling center section keeps things moving, while slightly larger and deeper shoulder knobs provide great traction in the dirt.

Comments:
My eight year old started riding on these tires when he was five. He mostly rides to and from school and around the neighborhood, though other recreational rides do happen. In two years, he wore right through the outer layer of rubber to expose the red second layer. Just by skidding around a little the way kids do. I'm thinking I'd better replace the tire before it blows. I wouldn't think a little kid could wear right through a tire. But he wants the same one again.
