I have used the 700x28s on my fully loaded touring bike and have had no problems. I also have the 26" version for my commuter. I wouldn't use anything else. They wear well and are extreamly resistant to punctures. Every so often I will check them over and find pieces of glass stuck in them. Glass that would have flattened most other tires. Nothing is completely puncture proof...but these are darn close.

I put these on because I am a new road rider and needed a little more grab on wet roads. They're great... I haven't slipped yet. Easy to install and use. Not compatible with protective skins.
