I must have had a bad lot. After 700 miles or so, the plies started to separate badly. Luckily, I was able to make it back home (30 miles) without a blow-out. Called Specialized to report, and they advised to take back to dealer for a warranty assessment. Shop argued that the warranty period had expired, but took back the tire and replaced under warranty (agreed tire malfunctioned). Only had to pay shop for installation.

Comments:
This tire supposed to be flat resistant...My cheap tires never got me so many flats as this one. Really soft rubber and easily cut. They are looking great after over 1000 miles, but there is many deep and long cuts, and many, many flats.
