Had the shoes 18mths and generally very pleased. Problem is heel pads are not replaceable and now worn off. Have has to carve my own replacements out of old bake pads and bond them on. Come on Specialized, you can do better than this!

After two years, the Boa knob came free from the shoe body (1 year warrantee) rendering it useless. The heel pads that you walk on are very narrow and split apart (they'll be the next thing to fail). I'm used to shoes lasting many more years, so this is a disappointment.

While this product is probably really good for someone who does not ride a lot, if you are an avid cyclist who goes out at least once or twice a week, this shoe's heel will soon loose it's heel pads and you will be walking on the remnants of the heel because there is no replacement.

These are by far the most confortable shoes (of any type) that I have ever worn! When I get these on, and on my cycle, I forget about my feet and shoes. And for someone with feet problems, this is a real blessing! Only had them for 18 mmonths or so, so I hope they wear well!

I bought this pair since I've had the mtb comp for several years. It fits the same, but the covering is not durable at all. I've washed my mtb shoes with all types of cleaners and soaps with water, but these road comps got grungy after being caught out in the rain on one of my rides. The color started coming off on the towel as I wiped them down and now there are parts of the shoe that look different than the rest. I think the pearly paint stripped off with the water and left sticky spots that attract dirt.

I wanted to try s-works by the first time, but Comp gives me the same weight, stiffness and comfort. Strongly recommended

This shoe is well-made and looks good. No issues there. The issue I have with mine is comfort and adjustability. I find the dial closure is like a "one size fits all" deal# It's simple and easy to use, but it doesn't provide me with a snug fit like the 3-strap Velcro shoes# With the 3-strap system, you can choose the tightness at 3 points on your foot# This shoe has 1 strap + 1 dial = only 2 points of tightening. For me, this is an issue ... I just can't get it right. It's either too tight or too loose. I'm dumping these shoes after a few weeks and going back to the 3-velcro strap shoes for more comfort ...

I have had this shoe for over a year now, and I love it. The easy of use and durability has made this my favorite shoe by far. I have tried other brands and spent a pretty penny on some good shoes but this shoe does everything I need and I didn't have to break the bank. I would recommend this for the beginner as well as the seasoned veteran. Overall Great Shoe.

The shoe looks cool, but overall I was not satisfied. The BOA system came unglued preventing the shoes to ever stay tight. I found the shoe incredibly comfortable, I got it on sale so it was a good entry level for me. I had to purchase a different insole, the one the shoes come with hurt my feet REAL bad, They seem to be designed for super flat-footed people.
