This is a great tire, I had a bike for two years with these tires on it and never had a flat. My bike was stolen and I purchase a new trex bike and the sales person told me that their brand Bontrager AW3 H was the same as the Armadillo Tire. What a mistake I made, within a short time of ridding my new bike with these tires I got a flat from a thorn. My wife and two friend have bikes with the Armadillo tires on them and have been ridding their bikes in the same terrain for a least two years and have never gotten a flat. When my Bontrager tires wear down I will be replacing them with the Armadillo tires.

I replaced the stock tires that came with my Specized Roubaix with these tires and I could not be happier. The peace of mind of knowing they are far more durable than the stock tires is priceless on long rides out here in the desert. These tires also have a much more "sure" feel to them, even at the same pressure as the old tires they just feel more... I don't know really how to explain it ... it's just feeling you get through your seat when you are on quality tires, you feel safer and more sure about yourself and your machine.

Had issues with flat with my Michelin tires. I switched to the Specialized and never had any flat. I did over 4000 kms last summer including a trip Montreal to New Brunsick without any issues.
