2016 Scott Genius 930
Scott's Genius 930 is a super fun trail bike that floats up technical climbs and deftly tears down the other side. Its lightweight aluminum frame uses a tapered head tube and a IDS SL rear thru axle for proper trail-rallying stiffness. But typically to get the downhill thrills, you’ve got to do a little climbing first. For that, Scott’s TwinLoc remote effortlessly adjusts the suspension between Lockout, Traction (90mm), and Descend (130mm) modes on the rear Fox Nude shock. Up front, Fox's 34 Float fork nullifies rocks, roots, and hits with 140mm of travel. Adding to the capabilities is a Shimano 20-speed XT drivetrain, an X-Fusion dropper post, and impressive SLX disc brakes to deliver loads of high-powered braking control. Plus, Syncros’ smooth-rolling 29-inch wheels and components deliver confidence everywhere you go.
