Salsa's Horsethief 1 is their any-trail, anywhere-in-the-world bike. If you like to experience new trails, this is your bike. Extremely capable and confidence inspiring, it handles big-mountain aggressive terrain with ease with its 120mm-travel Salsa heat-treated, shaped 6066-aluminum frame with active Split Pivot rear suspension. Combine that with a longer top tube so you can run the go-fast combo of a short stem and wide bars, and you have a demon descender. Components include a silky-smooth Fox fork with tapered steerer and a Fox Float CTD shock to soak up everything from braking bumps to huge compression. SRAM's X01 drivetrain ensures race-ready shifting and outstanding on-trail durability. Stellar SRAM X0 Trail brakes, Stan's Arch EX 29er rims with wide Continental Mountain King tires, a short Salsa stem and Salsa bars, a fine Thomson post and WTB seat round out the rest of the goodies.
