I purchased these as an upgrade over the stock pedals on my Marlin 7, and wow they have been great. Much grippier and solid than the stock pedals. I notice a huge difference in my ability to keep my feet on the pedals as well as pedaling power. For the money it's hard to imagine a better upgrade.
