This bike is a great ride for a comfort bike, on road or trail or off road or trail. It has a great drive train which is responsive and agile at the same time, which enables a rider to propel forward and quickly get up to speed. The front fork shock absorption system, and disc brakes make this an awesome bike to own. I use it on paved and un-paved trails and the bike handles well and a few additional accessories make it the perfect tool for fitness and fun. I added handle bar horns and a water bottle, that's all it needed for short rides or for long ones. Thanks to the staff of Mill Race shop in Geneva, they helped me pick it out, I've been in love with it ever since.

This is a review coming from a person that hasn't owned a bike in over 20 years. First things first though. I would like to thank the Merrily, and Lucas at the Palo Alto shop for helping me choose this bike. I probably looked at 7 bikes before choosing the Quick CX3. It had everything I was looking for in a bike. The ability to go on the road or light trails, disc breaks, front shocks all with a nimble feel. Since getting it for X-Mas, I've mainly did a lot of riding on the Peninsula streets, with the occasional trips to the local walking trails. The bike is nothing short of spectacular for the price. The only thing that I want to do is try taking the bike on a few more off road trails where I could see how good the mountain bike aspect of this hybrid bike would be able to hold up.

With this being my first bike in a LOOONG time, I'd have to say this bike is perfect. At Mike's Bikes, I looked at over 6 bikes in the same price range and found that this bike was just right for me. The thin nubby tires have a flat center perfect for the road, and when going on the trails the side nubs give the added traction. The disc brakes are a plus. (I've been use to the old school ones on 10-speeds.) The big plus is that it handles really nice. The shifting is pretty good without much play. The only minus is I think that the bike might be a little heavy. (It was however a little lighter than some of the other hybrids.) Thanks to Lucas and Merrily at the Palo Alto store for being patient with this first time in a long time biker.
