Specialized’s FACT IS (Integrated Structure) construction
This frame utilizes Specialized’s advanced FACT IS (Integrated Structure) construction method. By separating the frame into four main parts — the front triangle, seat tube/bottom bracket, chainstays and seatstays — Specialized is able to optimize each carbon piece for its specific purpose and create a structure that’s incredibly light, ultra stiff and super smooth.

Awesome all around race bike. Sprinter, climber, decender, century, grand fondo, whatever you won't want too get off it this thing is an absolute speed machine. every pedal stroke transfers to the road into speed! Get it while its on sale @ pulse there giving it away @ that $. The 2014 is the exact same bike just different color. So save yourself $1100. The color is sik, and only weight 17lbs. Also very important get professionally fitted @ pulse too bring your riding gear, it took about 3 hours worth it. They adjust you go ride, they adjust again til its 100% right. I love this bike! I did upgrade the wheels for something much lighter but other than that, I have only good things to say about the bike.
