  • PINARELLO DOGMA F8...

Description

Experience the new 2015 Pinarello DOGMA F8, the bike Team SKY and Tour de France champion Chris Froome plans on defending his title with at this years' Tour de France.

Pinarello has yet again redefined what is possible when it comes to road bike design and engineering. The Dogma F8 raises the bar even higher with a more balanced feel, enhanced handling and compliance, and a new level of weight savings, stiffness, and aerodynamics yet to be delivered by Pinarello. This is all made possible by the new TORAYCA® T1100 1K CARBON, a completely new redesigned ONDA fork, and a CFD(computational fluid dynamics) & wind tunnel tested and UCI approved frame.

With collaboration from both Team SKY riders and managers, and the incredibly talented engineering and aerodynamics team at Jaguar, Pinarello has reasserted itself as the leader in ultra premium ride performance and style. Harnessing the engineering excellence from some of Jaguar's 7,000 engineers has allowed the all new Pinarello Dogma F8 to reach a new level of performance and ride quality. CFD, along with countless hours in Jaguar’s UK based wind tunnel have led to a new level of weight saving carbon layup, lateral stiffness, proven aerodynamics, vertical compliance, and balance. Bringing these ingredients together yield what could be considered the world’s next best road bike.

Additional features including an asymmetric frame design, a new head tube shape, new down tube shape, multiple water bottle placements, and a completely new seat post design help to make the F8 a bike compelling for a wide range of cyclists. Comfort, speed, stiffness, handling, and style have all been addressed, and accounted for. Additionally, the well-known Pinarello Dogma2 geometry has remained in the DNA of the Dogma F8, providing comfortable positions for riders needing bikes in size 42cm through size 62(13 sizes available).

It is incredibly refreshing to hear of a company like Pinarello discussing these new technologies and partnerships. They are by far one of cycling’s most compelling legacy brands, enduring the test of time decade after decade. Combining their heritage of incredible riding bicycles and gorgeous style with these new futuristic technologies are firmly planting Pinarello in the cycling landscape for years to come. Creating bicycles that not only ride well and look great, but are also industry leaders regarding speed, weight, comfort, handling, and stiffness are going to keep them firmly planted on top.

The all-new Dogma F8 is the latest creation from the incredible minds at Pinarello. From casual weekend enthusiasts, to seasoned racers, this new rig has compelling qualities that would enhance anyone’s cycling experience. #F8endofdiscussion.

I just took my first ride on the new Pinarello Dogma F8. Being used to Pinarello bikes impressing me in all of the right places is nothing new, but this redesigned frame raises the bar to a level far beyond anything I've experienced on a bicycle in the past. The F8 offers all of the compliance, handling, and stability I have grown to love from Pinarello, with an incredible new feeling of stiffness, speed, balance, and handling. The new F8 feels faster, lighter, and easier to ride, all while keeping the comfort and compliance right where it should be. The new F8 is definitely a contemporary take on what I have known Pinarello to be, and I really like the new direction both in feel, and style. It's inspiring to see a company like Pinarello, so deeply rooted in heritage, breaking the mold to the next generation of technology and performance. So often I see legacy Italian brands leaning heavily on their history and heritage to sell new bikes, without taking into consideration current thoughts and ideas like aerodynamics, or electronic compatibility. Companies still trying to sell their bikes based on downtube logos and headtube badges are going to be left in the dust. With this new F8 frame, Pinarello is quickly moving into a new class of company, blending knowledge and heritage from decades of experience, with space age partnerships, technologies, and ideas. My relationship with the new Pinarello F8 is just beginning, I can't wait to see where it takes me. Ciao, J
