New Bike - Basic Fit
The Basic Fit adjusts all new bike purchases to fit your body with consideration of the saddle height, saddle fore/aft position, stem length, handlebar rotation, and shifter placement. If you purchase pedals and shoes with your new bike we will also take care of your cleat placement.”
We offer two types of custom fits for Road bikes.
Aerodynamic drag is the biggest force acting against a cyclist under most conditions, and is of primary importance in TT and triathlon events. During your bike fitting we will address any aerodynamic concerns and capitalize on all available tools to limit your drag and increase your speed.
Unlike a road bike, which once fit properly provides multiple positions to accommodate diverse demands, aero bikes situate the rider in a more or less singular position. It is important this position meets the demand of the event and accommodates the rider’s physical capabilities or limitations.
Mountain Bike Fit is not a simply replicating a road bike position on a straight handlebar. Drastic differences in terrain , riding styles and desired experiences make a mountain biking very diverse. The position is dynamic and the bike rarely stays the same as riders often change their suspension set up or tire selection depending on the day, terrain or effort. So ,because all of that, Freshbikes created a specific bike fit for Mountain Bikes.
Sometimes , flat bar bikes can be used as a road bike , for commute or sometimes just for fun or pleasure.
